Seeing northern lights it’s truly magical, its a wonder of nature in which a lot of factors have to be in your favor, and for Timo one was the most important, the question he was about to ask.

We drove nearly three hours searching for a clear sky, but luck wasn’t on our side. Finally, we stopped at a random spot, deciding to make the best of the night. We watched Modern Family, ate chips, and laughed a lot together. Not the northern lights we’d hoped for, but it was still the perfect date in its own way.

After almost an hour, we decided to head back to the hotel, feeling a little disappointed. We thought our adventure had been a bust – or so it seemed.

Then, just two minutes away from the hotel, on a long, straight road, we saw something. A faint, green light dancing in the sky. Could it be? Timo slammed on the brakes, and we both jumped out of the car, staring in awe at the northern lights in all their glory. And under that magical sky, the rest became history.
