getting there

flight

Munich International Airport (MUC)

We suggest flying into Munich International Airport (MUC), from there Pfarrkirchen is approximately 3 hours by train.

Car

Take the A92 from Munich towards Deggendorf.
Exit at Landau an der Isar and continue on the B20 towards Burghausen.
Follow signs to Arnstorf, then continue on local roads (St2112 and St2115) to Mariakirchen.
Follow the signs to Schloss Mariakirchen / Schlossparkhotel.
🕒 Approx. travel time: 1 hour 45 minutes.
Parking is available at the venue.

train

Take a regional train from Munich to Plattling, Pfarrkirchen, or Landau an der Isar.
From there, take a taxi or shuttle (about 20–30 minutes) to Mariakirchen.
🕒 Approx. total travel time: 2–2.5 hours.

ground transportation

train

Company: Deutsche Bahn
Germany is known for its great train system (German jokes aside, it’s not perfect!) but we recommend renting a car for some activities because the train system doesn’t reach every destination easily.

Car

Discover the freedom of traveling by car in Germany, the Autobahn, the only highway with no speed limit, offers an exciting way to explore the country. Renting a car is the best way to visit hidden gems and enjoy your trip at your own pace. Additionally, getting to the wedding venue is much easier by car, so we suggest arranging a rental in advance. If you would like to rent a car, we can provide our recommended options—just get in touch with us.

cultural tips

About Germany…

In Germany, little traditions matter! For example, when saying Prost (cheers), make sure to look everyone in the eyes, it’s considered bad luck if you don’t. These small details add a little charm to your trip and make the experience even more authentic.
We also put together some useful words for you… Can you guess Marianne’s favorite ?

danke

Thank you, Gracias

bitte

Please/You’re welcome
Por favor/De nada

Prost!

Cheers, Salud

Entschuldigung

Excuse me, Perdón

wo ist … ?

Where is…?, Donde está…?

Across borders and time zones, we found home in each other.

Now we’re throwing a celebration that’s just as loco as we are!

A little bit of Mexico, a little bit of Germany, and a whole lot of love.
